I am moved by the stillness and motion of this image. It seems as if time is standing still. For me at the time of this shoot, I felt that my world had come to a complete halt.
Standing on Holy Ground
I was touched by this image even as I edited it. I was humbled by Natalia's pose. It was as if she were before God. Like Moses before the burning bush. "Take off your shoes, you are standing on Holy Ground." I like that the viewer has no idea what is in front of her because then they must decide to what or whom she is bowing.

The symmetry of this jump speaks for itself. Natalia rose above her circumstances, rose above the heat exhaustion and showed me what it looked like to fly with ease.

White Sands National Park - While this image is barely discernible I fell in love with it. The joy of a girl and her dog. They were free from my artistic demands and could simply run free. It feels very much like a dream when I look at it.

So many times we tried to get this jump right. 110 degrees and running and leaping about wore her out. Yet, she continued to jump, to smile, to please the artist in front of her.
